Just got engaged and wondering what do I do first? As a wedding venue owner for the past 10 years , I can tell you your first big decision is choosing your wedding venue . Once your wedding venue is choosen you can start your wedding vision . In this blog, we will discuss the 18 things you absolutely need to know that will help you choose a wedding venue on the western slope of Colorado

Choosing your Western Slope wedding venue!
How Long Do You Get the venue?
You will have to decide if you want a 4-hour in-and-out celebration with a venue that supplies everything or a relaxed, stress-free venue like Antler Ridge Weddings. Antler Ridge offers several wedding packages, but the #1 package is the weekend package. Most brides plan their wedding for over a year, so why not enjoy all the planning and hard work by choosing the weekend package? More time, less stress is our motto. At Antler Ridge, we are flexible and encourage all our brides to let their personalities shine. You have the ability to be as creative as you want but also have the option to hire a day-of event planner to help bring your vision together. If you are a couple that is looking for a more budget-friendly package, choosing our Sunday package or mid-week package offers the same amenities but at a discounted price. Whatever you choose, we look forward to helping you through the process and look forward to meeting you.

How Many Guests Can the Wedding Venue Accomodate?
Antler Ridge Weddings sits on 5 acres and has a large, spacious grassy area in front of the rustic, chic wedding barn. The barn can accommodate up to 250 guests, and there are several different options for setting up. If you are wanting a tented event, we have a lot of room to accommodate that look.

Can We Use Our Own Vendors?
Yes, you can, but they need to have a COI (certificate of insurance) that will be provided to Antler Ridge. We also have a preferred Vendors List to choose from that is provided to you when you book our venue.
Preferred vendors are vendors in our area that have been to our venue several times and provide excellent service.

1. Pond with mountain views and rustic wooden arch
2. Spacious green lawn area with the backdrop of the wedding barn

Lighted Parking Area
Antler Ridge has a large parking area that is convenient for all your guests.
There is a pathway to the wedding ceremony site.
Bridal Suite
Newly renovated Bridal Suite! It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the favorite things about Antler Ridge is having a “last girlfriend night together.” The Bridal Suite has individual make-up stations with mirrors in the master bedroom and a fun porch to hang out on for your day of “Mimosa.” It is conveniently located near the wedding reception area.
Is There a Hold the Date Deposit
If you're in love with our wedding venue—and we are sure you will be—once we check availability and decide on a date, you will fill out a contract and make a "hold the date" deposit of $1,000.00. The balance of the venue, along with your rentals, is due 30 days before the wedding.

Managers are not event planners and do not help with the logistics concerning the wedding event. We are there to make your guests feel welcome and to answer any questions.
