This venue is everything we could have ever dreamed of. It’s the best value in the area and Linda makes the whole day effortless. There are many options for ceremony spots, they have elk and bison on property that guests LOVE, and the views of the San Juans are incredible. They let you have a lot of freedom with set up and decor, and the bridal suite is the perfect spot for getting ready. We loved getting to have the venue from Friday to Sunday. It made it so much more relaxing and we were able to focus on having fun on our special day. Linda is an angel, she made our day so special and we just loved her so much. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to.

Creating a Shortlist of Venues
Once you’ve read through the reviews and have a good understanding of which venues stand out, it’s time to create a shortlist.
Narrow down your options based on which venues align best with your budget, preferences, and guest capacity.
Consider scheduling tours of your top choices. Many venues offer guided tours tailored for potential couples, during which you can ask questions and see the space first-hand.

Visiting the Venues
After deciding on a shortlist, visit the venues in person. No amount of online research can replace the experience of stepping into a space. When visiting, keep the following in mind:
Visualize Your Wedding: Imagine how your wedding could unfold at each venue.
Ask Questions: Prepare a list of questions based on your findings from the reviews, including policies regarding deposits, cancellation, and restrictions on decorations.
Connect with the Venue Team: A venue is not just the physical space but also the people who will help you through the planning process. Make sure you feel comfortable with their team.

Checking for Additional References
While Google reviews are an excellent resource, consider also looking for testimonials or ratings on other platforms like Yelp, The Knot, and WeddingWire. This can provide a more comprehensive view of the venue and its services.
Additionally, if you know anyone who has recently gotten married in Grand Junction, don’t hesitate to ask them directly for their insights and recommendations. Personal referrals can offer invaluable information that online reviews might not cover.
Making Your Final Decision
After gathering all the information from your visits and reviews, take the time to compare your options. Discuss with your partner, family, or friends to get their input on your top choices. Consider creating a pros and cons list for each venue, taking into account factors such as location, ratings, reviews, and how well it fits your envisioned wedding day.
Once you’ve made a decision, reach out to the venue to check on availability.
