Planning your wedding in southwest Colorado should be as unique as the beautiful mountain landscape that will be the framing the vows behind you. Here at Antler Ridge Weddings near Grand Junction, Colorado we set the stage for the most unique wedding setting you can dream up because of the elk and buffalo that make up our landscape on the ranch! Wedding Mirror- Mirrors have multiple purposes on your wedding day. Besides being a total necessity in your getting-ready suite, they can be used as welcome signs, an escort card display, a dinner menu at the reception, and more. List your signature cocktails on a mirror and then set it at the bar. Jot down each table number on small framed mirrors, so everyone can easily spot their seat. Prop up a large mirror at the entrance to your ceremony that announces the schedule of events. The possibilities are endless. (www.brides.com)
Unplugged Ceremony-An unplugged wedding ceremony is one where guests are gently invited to put away their phones and devices and be engaged in the here-and-now of the wedding day. Many couples would love for the vibe of their unplugged ceremony to stretch all the way through the reception. Others are happy for the phones to come out after their vows are done. There are many reasons to recommend an unplugged approach to your ceremony. You deserve to have your loved ones present for you.

Take a shot to find your seat- If most of your guests are drinkers, and you don’t mind making those that aren’t a little mad, why not encourage a shot for everyone before they take a seat for your vows! Maybe apple juice for the youngsters? Remember, this is about being creative and getting your guests to interact and have fun to set the stage to welcome your life together!
Bar Menu Signs- We love adorable signs here at Antler Ridge Weddings!
Audio Guest Book- What about instead of guests writing you a message, they record you one on a vintage phone?
Picture Wall of your love story- How cute is it to have a collage beautifully displayed of “His Story”, “Her Story” and “Your Story”! We at Antler Ridge Weddings love this idea as a way to combine how your journey’s have connected and intertwined and become one! We cannot think of a better place to display this than in front of our huge sliding barn doors as guests enter into the reception to celebrate your next chapter!
QR Codes- QR codes simplify the role as a guest even more and make having fun at your wedding a priority and one more way to make your wedding day at Antler Ridge Weddings stress free for your guests! Use a QR to donate to your honeymoon fund or even your house fund. Use a QR code as a way to add pictures to a wedding album. We use a QR code to allow our guests to leave reviews after getting married, so if you have been a guest use our QR code below to leave us a review!
Fur babies on your special day- Is incorporating your cat or dog important to you or your fiancé on your wedding day? At Antler Ridge, we have seen some cute ways that couples have made their pets a part of their big day. One bride didn’t actually bring her cat, but her wedding party made sure her cat made an appearance by bringing pictures of her cat in the form of a “fat head” (think sports moms at a game). Other ways pets have been included have been having printed napkins stating that drinks are on the dog (see the picture below)!
Grandma Bracelet- This might be our very favorite trend that we saw this year! Special shout out to Atiera from Grand Junction for bringing this amazing tradition to Antler Ridge Weddings. Atiera had a special corsage made for her Grandma to recognize her and make her feel special on her wedding day. What other ways could you creatively honor your grandparents on your wedding day at Antler Ridge?
