Colorado has many historic mountain towns rooted in ranching, mining, and agriculture all throughout its mountains and plains. One of these towns is called Crestone. To get to it, you have to travel over the Sangre de Cristo mountains southeast of the unique little town of Alamosa, CO. It is in that mountain town of Crestone where this bar first served its whiskey shots and homegrown moonshine slid across its smooth bar top to the miners and hardworking men and women of the town 150 years ago! Now that's a bar that has seen some miles and knows some stories! It is said that this bar witnessed two gunfights! If you look really close, you can find the bullet hole that helped make it the bar it is today!
